President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent today a congratulatory message to French President Emmanuel Macron on his country's win of the 2018 World Cup final in Russia. France defeated Croatia 4-2 in the Cup final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium and was crowned champion for the second time.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed expressed warm congratulations to the French president for the best performance shown by the French team.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar messages of congratulations to president Macron.
