H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is due to visit Japan from April 21st - 24th at the invitation of Japanese Foreign Minister, Fumio Kishida.
During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah is expected to meet Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito to discuss bilateral relations between the UAE and Japan and ways of enhancing them. The UAE Foreign Minister will also meet with Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and a number of local ministers and government officials, to discuss aspects of bilateral cooperation, as well as to exchange views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
Sheikh Abdullah's upcoming visit reaffirms the historical relations between the UAE and Japan, their strong ties of friendship, common strategic interests, and the continuous keenness of both leaderships to strengthen and consolidate cooperation in all sectors.
