Ajman Ruler visits Mrajeeb Al Fhood refugee camp in Jordan.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today visited the Emirati-Jordanian camp in Mrajeeb Al Fhood, Jordan.

Sheikh Humaid, who was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, opened the clinics of Emirati field hospital in Mafraq, the expense of which was paid by him.

While inspecting the hospital, Sheikh Humaid praised the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to provide necessary assistance to the Syrian refugees.

He also referred to the efforts of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra, and President of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) in providing aid to the Syrian refugees and the communities hosting them.

"It is our duty to extend a helping hand to our Syrian brothers until their return," he added.

During his tour, Sheikh Humaid was briefed by Mubarak Mohammed Al Khaili, Head of the ERC team at the camp, and Dr. Abdullah Al Jenaibi, Director of the medical team, on the services offered to the refugees, including medical care through various specialist clinics.

Sheikh Humaid also opened sport grounds, as well as the expanded events hall.

Also accompanying Sheikh Humaid were Matar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan and Dr. Mohammed Atiq Al Falahi, Secretary General of the ERC.
