His Excellency Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Argentine and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Paraguay, met with His Excellency Silvio Ovelar, President of the Senate and Congress of Paraguay, at the Congress headquarters in the capital, Asunción.
During the meeting, H.E. Al Qamzi conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, and submitted a letter of invitation on his behalf to H.E. Ovelar to visit the UAE. H.E. Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi also attended the signing ceremony by H.E. Ovelar of a resolution to form a parliamentary friendship committee between the Federal Council and the Senate.
H.E. Al Qamzi affirmed the UAE’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations across various fields, which would contribute to strengthening ties between the UAE and the Republic of Paraguay.
For his part, H.E. Ovelar highlighted the numerous prospects of cooperation that would achieve the interests and aspirations of both countries and their peoples.
