Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mohammed Mir Abdullah Al Raisi, has honoured a group of employees who have made outstanding contributions to community service during 2015.

The group includes ten exceptional employees, who contributed towards developing and simplifying work procedures, and five others who made positive contributions in the service of the UAE’s society.

The selection of the honourees was based on a system of incentives set up by the ministry to encourage innovation, creativity and excellence.

A number of the senior officials attended the ceremony.

H.E. Al Raisi praised the employees and said, "The excellence and creativity of employees show that they are capable of, and persistent about making progress and keeping pace with the age, as well as support the ministry's plans for promoting the culture of excellence, We are proud of them as they will continue to be creative and have achievements based on their responsibilities."

He noted that the creation of the system of incentives was in line with the Cabinet's approval of the system of rewards and incentives last year.

Recently, the ministry's committee for incentives and rewards recently approved an annual cash reward for the staff.
