H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed participates in extended Vienna talks on Syria.

UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan participated in international talks on Syria in the Austrian capital of Vienna. Other regional and international actors also attended.

Today's meeting was a culmination of a meeting held on 23rd October in Vienna when foreign ministers of the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey recognised the importance of broadening the scope of participation in such meetings by inviting regional and world powers who wield influence on the Syrian file, including the UK, China, France, Germany, Italy, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, EU and the UN Special Envoy for Syria.

Fares Mohammed Al Mazrouie, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs, also attended the meeting.
