Dr. Mohamed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, the UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and Beibut Atamkulov, Kazakh Minister of Defence and Aerospace Industry, have discussed cooperation between the two countries in the defense industries field.
During the meeting, held at the ministry in Astana, the UAE ambassador highlighted the recent visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the UAE. He said that a number of agreements were signed between the two countries in various fields.
He also highlighted the strong and distinguished relations between the two countries, thanks to the strong fraternal ties between the leadership of the UAE and Kazakhstan.
Al Jaber stressed the UAE's keenness on enhancing cooperation with Kazakhstan in various domains.
Atamkulov extended thanks to the UAE for hosting the sixth session of the UAE-Kazakhstan Joint Committee. He also pointed out his country's intention to develop cooperation with the UAE in the defence and space industries, and to be briefed about the UAE's experience and exchange expertise in this field.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al Jaber extended thanks to the minister for his hospitality and warm welcome. They also exchanged gifts to commemorate the occasion.
