VAT and Excise Tax Exemption Cancellation for Foreign Missions
The mission files a registration request to recover VAT for the mission and its accredited members per the principle of reciprocity. The mission also informs the Ministry of the cancellation of the registration for the VAT for members whose employment term at the mission ends.
The mission submits a registration for the VAT or excise tax on MoFA's website. The Ministry sends a notification that the service is being processed. Following MoFA's approval, a notification is sent confirming registration is complete, and stating that it is possible to apply for a tax refund.
