This service is provided for missions accredited to the UAE, allowing them to request VAT registration for the mission and its accredited members per the principle of reciprocity.

This service is provided for missions accredited to the UAE, allowing them to request the cancellation of VAT registration for members upon the termination of their employment at the mission.

Passing Diplomatic Luggage

This service is provided for missions accredited to the UAE, allowing them to request facilitation of receiving, passing, or delivering diplomatic bags or parcels, along with cases of sending or receiving mission-specific items such as electronic devices and others, to ensure their passage as per the laws and procedures followed by UAE’s port security. The requests are referred electronically to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office’s visits section at Abu Dhabi Airport to speed up the procedure.

Request for Search and Investigation

This service allows foreign missions in the UAE to submit search and investigation requests for their nationals residing within the United Arab Emirates through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

 

Procedures: Customer’s Journey:

1. Login to MOFA portal and start the service, then select the required sub-service type to initiate the request.

2. Fill/ Edit the required information and upload mandatory documents, then submit.

3. On completing and submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation notification.

Issue Returning Document for New Born

Issue an electronic return document for children of UAE citizens born while abroad through the UAE missions abroad to facilitate their return to the Country.

Parking Fines Exemption

The mission submits the request electronically through the Services for Foreign Missions on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After completing the procedures, a notification will be sent to the mission with the reference number to visit the diplomatic bodies licensing office at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete the remaining procedures.

Visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, click on Services for Foreign Missions, choose the "vehicle procedures" service, then select the required service. Fill out all fields, attach all required documents, and send the application.  MoFA will send a notification stating that the service is in progress. Upon completion, MoFA will send a notification with the reference number in order to visit the diplomatic bodies licensing office at the Ministry's Headquarters to complete the remaining procedures, or to report to the Integrated Transport Center to complete MAWAQiF procedures.

Annual Aviation Permits

The Department of Aviation and Navigation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues diplomatic permits for military aircraft and ships, presidential aircraft, and government delegations from friendly and allied countries. It also handles requests for permits for private and military aircraft and ships of the state, aimed at enhancing the role of the Operations Department in achieving the ministry's objectives.
