This service is provided for missions accredited to the UAE, allowing them to request facilitation of receiving, passing, or delivering diplomatic bags or parcels, along with cases of sending or receiving mission-specific items such as electronic devices and others, to ensure their passage as per the laws and procedures followed by UAE’s port security. The requests are referred electronically to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office’s visits section at Abu Dhabi Airport to speed up the procedure.

This service allows foreign missions in the UAE to submit search and investigation requests for their nationals residing within the United Arab Emirates through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

Procedures: Customer’s Journey:

1. Login to MOFA portal and start the service, then select the required sub-service type to initiate the request.

2. Fill/ Edit the required information and upload mandatory documents, then submit.

3. On completing and submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation notification.

The mission submits the request electronically through the Services for Foreign Missions on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After completing the procedures, a notification will be sent to the mission with the reference number to visit the diplomatic bodies licensing office at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete the remaining procedures.

Visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, click on Services for Foreign Missions, choose the "vehicle procedures" service, then select the required service. Fill out all fields, attach all required documents, and send the application.  MoFA will send a notification stating that the service is in progress. Upon completion, MoFA will send a notification with the reference number in order to visit the diplomatic bodies licensing office at the Ministry's Headquarters to complete the remaining procedures, or to report to the Integrated Transport Center to complete MAWAQiF procedures.

1- Enter the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2- Submit the application by using the username/password of the entity or mission

3- Go to foreign mission services under "Visits & Meetings Services" Icon.

4- Choose the phone call and virtual meetings service from the dropdown.

5- Fill out the mandatory fields and concerned entity, the person to be interviewed, and the guest’s information

6- Attach the entity's memorandum and the guest’s CV

7- Receive the reference number via email and SMS and access the system to follow up on developments
