Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Congratulates Bahrain on Election to UN Security Council

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, congratulated the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the Kingdom’s election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the term 2026-2027.

His Highness affirmed that this historic and diplomatic achievement reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s unwavering endeavors and wise leadership in fostering regional and global peace and security.

Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the UAE’s confidence that Bahrain, as the Arab representative on the Security Council, will play a prominent role in advancing stability, exemplifying the distinguished position Bahrain holds at the regional and international level, and its exceptional diplomacy.
