Abdullah bin Zayed receives Foreign Minister of Peru; discusses strengthening bilateral cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received Elmer Schialer Salcedo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two top diplomats discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and prospects to enhance avenues of joint cooperation across several sectors, including economic, trade, investment, and other vital areas that support the developmental priorities of both sides.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, expressing his eagerness to work together to strengthen the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and to seize all available opportunities to develop prospects for cooperation in various fields.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.
