Protocol of amendment to the agreement signed to establish the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the UAE

In a step that bolsters diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the two parties signed a protocol of amendment to the agreement between the UAE government and the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to grant a plot of land to the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish its embassy in the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE side was represented by His Excellency Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the agreement was signed by His Excellency Abdulaziz Okulov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE, on behalf of the Uzbek side.

The signing ceremony took place at Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a number of officials and diplomats from both countries, which reflects the importance of this step in developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
