
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed welcomed Minister Youssouf, and discussed with him aspects of enhancing bilateral relations and joint cooperation to serve the mutual benefit of their countries.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE's keenness to strengthen positive and fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Djibouti in a way that serves the development goals of the two countries and brings goodness and prosperity to their peoples.
During the meeting, the two foreign ministers touched on several regional and international issues of common concern, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip.
They also reviewed developments in Sudan and their humanitarian repercussions, as well as the outcomes of the Djibouti meeting on Sudan that was held recently.
