Abdullah bin Zayed congratulates Pakistani Foreign Minister, discusses strategic cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has congratulated Mohammad Ishaq Dar on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During a phone call, the two foreign ministers discussed the UAE-Pakistan friendship relations and strategic partnership and ways to enhance cooperation to serve the two countries' mutual interests.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed his best wishes to his Pakistani counterpart for success in his new role, stressing his keenness to work with him to develop the prospects of cooperation within the growing Emirati-Pakistani strategic partnership.

The two foreign ministers also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them.
