The UAE’s delegation was led by Her Excellency Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and the participation of HE Mariam Al Muhairi Chairman of the International Affairs Office at the Presidential Court with the German side led by His Excellency Dr. Thomas Bagger, Secretary of State of the Federal Foreign Office.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as joint cooperation in the field of climate and energy, and ways to address regional and international developments.
HE Al Hashimy stressed the significance of consultations in strengthening bilateral relations and the exchange of perspectives on issues of mutual interest. Her Excellency emphasized that the UAE’s policy will continue to support peace, security and stability at both regional and international fronts, leveraging all possible efforts to achieve peaceful and diplomatic solutions.
For his part, HE Dr. Bagger commended the level of the strategic relations between the UAE and Germany, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation at all levels.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides affirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, and advancing them in manner which further upholds both countries shared interests.
