His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, participated in the African Investment Forum (AIF) in the Moroccon capital Rabat on December 4th, 2024.

During the Forum, H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan delivered a speech highlighting the UAE’s investments in Africa, emphasizing the wise leadership’s dedication to reinforcing productive  cooperation with countries in Africa, while supporting efforts for sustainable development and economic growth across the continent. His Excellency also focused on UAE investments across key sectors including infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, and technology, reaffirming the significance of such partnerships in advancing economic and social development across Africa.

The Forum focused on discussing ways of enhancing investments in the African continent, while highlighting the development of infrastructure, stimulating economic growth, and encouraging partnerships between the private and public sector. The Forum was also attended by various business leaders and government officials from across the world, as well as high-level delegations from Africa.

In his speech, H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan underscored the Forum’s prominence as a central platform for enhancing economic cooperation and exploring investment opportunities in Africa. His Excellency also highlighted the UAE’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with African countries through strategic investments which serve mutual interests and supports sustainable development.
