His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received today at Gudaibiya Palace, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed conveyed to His Royal Highness the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with their best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman welcomed the visit of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of the 12th session of the UAE-Bahrain Joint Higher Committee, and conveyed his greetings to the UAE leaders, along with his wishes for the UAE and its people for further elevation and prosperity.
Prince Salman emphasised that Bahrain-UAE's relations are built on solid foundations that reflect the bonds of brotherhood and shared history, representing an advanced model of brotherly and strategic relations.
He pointed out that various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries always receive the care and attention of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan with a continued commitment to developing these relations and pushing them towards broader horizons at all levels.
For his part, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed his pride in the strong brotherly ties between the UAE and Bahrain. He commended the growth and development of their cooperative and partnership relations across all sectors, which support the developmental goals of both countries.
He also expressed his deep appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his interest and commitment to developing and strengthening the brotherly relationship and the paths of bilateral cooperation, which contribute to achieving comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity for both countries and their peoples.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Bin Touq Al Mari, Minister of Economy; Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Dr. Sultan Bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Mohammed Salem Bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain; and several senior officials from both countries.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman hosted a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation.
