
His Excellency Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea, Peru’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the medal to HE Al Shamsi during an awards ceremony which took place at the headquarters of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
HE Gonzalez-Olaechea congratulated HE Al Shamsi on receiving the distinguished medal, which is considered the highest award conferred by the Republic of Peru on presidents and internationally prominent figures, in appreciation of their contributions to the Peruvian society. Furthermore, HE Gonzalez-Olaechea commended HE Al Shamsi’s role in enhancing and strengthening relations between the two countries.
For his part, HE Al Shamsi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the award presented by HE President Boluarte, and commended the Peruvian government’s cooperation and support. HE Al Shamsi also highlighted the deep-rooted ties that bind the UAE and the Republic of Peru, and the close cooperation that serves the common interests of the two countries.
