The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs bids farewell to the guests of the Merciful who are heading to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
Ms. Bashayer Al Matroushi, Director of Citizen Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the ministry's keenness to follow up on all requests related to citizens present in Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage around-the-clock until their return to their homeland. Additionally, a delegation from the ministry was assigned to participate in the official Hajj mission for the United Arab Emirates, under the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
Al Matroushi added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the educational program organized by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, with the presence of Hajj pilgrims, to educate them on the most important travel guidelines and procedures, in addition to the most important services provided by the ministry to the pilgrims during their stay in the holy lands.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides an emergency hotline service for citizens of the country abroad through the number 0097180024. The ministry also provides an electronic document issuance service for returning in case of loss, damage, or expiration of the Emirati passport or in the event of a citizen having a child outside the country. The service can be obtained through the ministry's website or mobile application.
