His Excellency Dr. Bader Abdullah Al Matrooshi presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Vietnam, to His Excellency Võ Văn Thưởng, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, at an official reception ceremony which took place at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Hanoi.
During the meeting, HE Al Matrooshi conveyed to His Excellency the President of Vietnam the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for the goverment and people of Vietnam.
For his part, His Excellency Thưởng expressed his greetings to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE.
His Excellency the President wished the Ambassador success in his work to enhance relations between the two countries in various fields, stressing his country's readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his duties.
For his part, His Excellency Al Matrooshi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his keenness to strengthen and activate bilateral relations in various fields, in a way that contributes to strengthening the relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the UAE and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and ways of developing them to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two countries and peoples.
