HE Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan Meets China’s Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa
HE Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Ambassador Xue Bing, Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Abu Dhabi.
The two officials discussed developments in the Horn of Africa and opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in the region.
During the meeting, HE Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan stated: “The UAE has always been a strong advocate for peace and stability in the Horn of Africa. We believe that regional stability is vital to the security and prosperity of the entire continent. As such, we welcome the opportunity to work with our Chinese partners to find solutions to the challenges facing the region. Through close cooperation, we can work together to achieve sustainable solutions for the betterment of the region.”
