
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Dr. Robert Habeck, German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, in Berlin.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Dr. Habeck discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, including trade, investment and climate, and broaden horizons for economic cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The sides also discussed a number of issues of common interest, including the stability of global food and energy market and the importance of strengthening efforts to stimulate global economic growth and accelerate recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Abdullah lauded the continuous growth and development made in all levels of cooperation between the two countries across all fields, including the economy.
For his part, Dr. Habeck wished the UAE further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and extended his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
Sheikh Abdullah thanked the German Vice Chancellor for his wishes to the UAE leadership, government and people, stressing that the Emirati-German strategic partnership has yielded many achievements across all fields.
The meeting was attended by Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, and Hafsa Abdullah Mohammed Al Ulama, UAE Ambassador to Germany.
