UAE Minister of State Receives CDC Group Delegation to Discuss Investment Cooperation

Minister of State His Excellency Ahmed Al Sayegh received a delegation from the CDC Group, led by Chief Executive Officer Nick O'Donohoe, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
 
During the meeting, both sides discussed the recent announcement of the creation of an investment platform between CDC Group and DP World, which aims to invest in ports and logistics across Africa. Both sides also agreed that such a project will accelerate Africa’s status as a global trading hub and improve the economic prospects of the continent.
 
The two sides also discussed potential collaboration in Africa and Asia in the fields of infrastructure, clean energy, health, and education.
 
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Patrick Moody, the UK Ambassador to the UAE.
