UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, HE Dr. Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, received the Embassy UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jan Kubis. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss many topics related to economic and social development, in addition to the role of relevant agencies to assist Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Furthermore, Ambassador Al-Shamsi noted that the UAE supports infrastructure and development projects in Lebanon with a focus on marginalized and disadvantaged areas.
Lastly, the two parties addressed general situation in Lebanon and the region in light of ongoing political developments.
