President of the National Assembly Moustapha Niasse, paid a visit on Sunday to the UAE embassy in Dakar and met with Mohamed Salem Al Rashedi, UAE Ambassador to Senegal.
Niasse said the visit made by the H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, to Senegal last March, had 'dynamic impact's on the relations between the two countries.
He applauded UAE's pioneering role and its diplomatic approach of development, as well as its efforts in serving Islamic nation.
Ambassador Al Rashedi lauded UAE's deep-rooted ties with Senegal. He thanked the President of the Senegalese National Assembly for his visit and for the role he has been playing in developing relations between the two countries.
