Maadhad Hareb Mughair Al Khaili presented his credentials to Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, as the UAE Ambassador to Moscow, during a ceremony for 17 foreign ambassadors at the Kremlin Palace, Moscow.
President Putin congratulated the new foreign envoys at the start of their diplomatic duties, while hoping that their activities in the Russian Federation will be productive and promote relations between their countries and Russia.
President Putin urged the foreign envoys to encourage the development of multilateral relations with Russia, as well as to promote political dialogue, improve their trade and economic relations, and deepen their humanitarian and cultural ties.
"The role of diplomacy and diplomats is especially important," he explained, while stressing that Moscow is committed to constructive dialogue with its foreign partners, and will promote a positive agenda.
He also highlighted the relationship between the UAE and Russia and efforts to develop them, especially in energy, tourism and investment, as well as the UAE’s role in the Middle East.
