The 1st Brazil-UAE Business Forum was held recently to discuss bilateral economic relations and the main barriers faced by multinationals that operate in both countries.
Opened by UAE Ambassadress to Brazil, Hafsa Abdulla Al Ulama, the Forum, organized by the National Confederation of Industries (CNI) and the UAE embassy in Brasilia, focused on facilitating the exchange of information on the legal environment of both countries and identifying priority issues and possibilities for the growth of trade and investments, to be forwarded later to both governments.
The forum was opened in the presence of CNI’s director of Industrial Development, Carlos Eduardo Abijaodi, and included a panel titled "Economic Outlook in Brazil and the United Arab Emirates."
Among those invited to the meeting were sector associations, members of the Transnational Corporations Forum (FET) of CNI and managers of the CNI Network, which are the confederation’s Business International Centers.
CNI is the largest and highest-level representation of industry in Brazil with a mission to promote a favorable business environment, enhance competitiveness and promote sustainable development
