Dauren Abayev, Minister of Information and Communication of Kazakhstan, received, on Friday, a UAE media delegation that was headed by Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Director-General of the National Media Council, NMC.
Also present were Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Executive Director of the Emirates News Agency, WAM.
Abayev welcomed the UAE delegation and praised the progressive relations between the two countries. He also expressed his desire to develop bilateral co-operation in media and information, through the exchange of expertise and close co-operation between his ministry and the NMC, as well between WAM and Kazakhstan's news agency.
Al Mansouri praised the growing co-operation between the UAE and Kazakhstan while adding that both countries have considerable potential in the areas of the media.
Ambassador Al Jaber thanked Abayev and expressed the UAE's desire to develop co-operation with Kazakhstan in various fields.
