UAE Embassy hosts reception to mark 22 years of establishing diplomatic relations with Latvia.

The UAE Embassy in Latvia has organised a reception on the occasion of 22 years of establishing diplomatic relations between the UAE and Latvia.

Latvian Foreign Ministry's State Secretary Andrejs Pildegovics, a number of member parliaments and ambassadors accredited to the country attended the event.

UAE Ambassador to Latvia, Hanan Al Alili, hailed the developing bilateral relations between the two countries.

She said that this year witnessed the arrival of the first ambassador of Latvia to the UAE and the opening of the UAE Embassy in Riga, as well as the historic visit of the President Raimonds Vejonis to UAE this February.
