Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, affirmed the importance of consultation and coordination with Egypt on stances towards the current crises besetting the Arab region.
Gargash was speaking during a meeting with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the 148th Regular Session of Arab foreign ministers' Council in Cairo today.
Shoukry emphasised the depth of ties between the two sisterly countries and peoples. He also underscored Egypt's determination to further consolidate these ties.
The two ministers took stock of the latest regional developments, emphasising the need for intensifying efforts to counter terrorism and extremist thought.
