Emiratis exempted from pre-entry visa to Argentina.

The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, has announced that Emiratis holding ordinary passports are now exempt from pre-entry visas to travel to Argentina.

Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs at MoFAIC, said that the diplomatic note received by the Ministry from its Argentine counterpart indicates that the exemption is effective as of 16th May, with the possibility of UAE citizens travelling to Argentina to stay for a period up to 90 days.

Al Dhaheri added that this move from the Argentine government reflects the prominent international status that the UAE has attained, opening up further horizons for its citizens, as well as the growing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various sectors including tourism, investment and trade.

He also highlighted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation seeks to further enhance its diplomatic efforts to attain the wise leadership's strategic objective of providing UAE citizens with distinguished services that ascertains their comfort and happiness.
