Vice Premier of China's State Council receives UAE Foreign Affairs Minister.

Zhang Gaoli, Vice Premier of China's State Council, received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as part of his official visit to China.

The two parties discussed ways to enhance friendship and co-operation in areas of economy, trade and investment. The meeting also included a discussion on issues relating to the exchange of expertise and opening new prospects for joint co-operation to serve their mutual interests.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasised the UAE's desire to boost co-operation with China in various domains and build on their longstanding strategic relations.

In turn, Zhang Gaoli welcomed Sheikh Abdullah to China, saying the visit underscored the depth of UAE and China’s ties.
