UAE condemns North Korean ballistic missile launch, calls for preserving international security and peace.
The United Arab Emirates has condemned North Korea's ballistic missile launch on Sunday, stressing that the test represents a challenge to UN Security Council resolutions and a legitimate threat to international security and stability.
In its statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasised the need to maintain the rules against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the world. It also stressed that violation of these norms is a threat and a flagrant violation of UN Security Council resolutions.
The ministry called upon the international community to take all necessary measures to address such violations, in order to maintain international peace and security.
