Khalifa Foundation distributes 200 tonnes of dates to displaced people in Lebanon as part of winter campaign.

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, has distributed 200 tonnes of dates in Lebanon to displaced Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese people, as part of the UAE's Winter 2017 campaign which responds to the displaced in the country.

The distribution was overseen by the Humanitarian and Development Affairs Attache Office at the UAE Embassy in Beirut, and implemented by the Relief Commission and Humanitarian Aid Association at Dar al-Fatwa in Lebanon.

The campaign will benefit 250,000 people across all the country's provinces over 15 days, and will include aid delivery to those most affected in border areas.
