The Federal National Council (FNC) delegation, led by Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the FNC, met with Emirati students who are studying in German universities.

The meeting is in line with the FNC's social initiatives to communicate and form partnerships with UAE citizens, both inside the country and abroad. It also aims to meet their needs and challenges to enable the council to practise its legislative, parliamentary and diplomatic roles.

Dr. Al Qubaisi conveyed the greetings of the UAE's wise leadership and government and fellow Emiratis to the students, as well as their best wishes and messages of good luck. She also extended her gratitude and appreciation to the UAE Embassy in Germany, for its organisation and attention it gives to Emirati students in Germany. She added that the delegation was also keen to meet the UAE students in Ireland and England.

"We were briefed about their educational attainments, which proves that the UAE is harvesting the fruits of the policy of the founding fathers of the country to provide the best education for UAE citizens," Dr. Al Qubaisi said.

She added that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Supreme Council Members; and Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, are following this legacy.

She also noted that the delegation's visit to England aimed to reassure unwell Emiratis who were receiving medical treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the London Clinic.
