Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Unveils the UAE Foreign Aid Strategy's Brand.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation today launched the visual identity of the country's Foreign Aid strategy.
Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs said: "The launch of the UAE Foreign Assistance Policy and the development of UAE Aid are representative of the UAE past and future. It will be the actor that inspires us to work alongside our international partners and build a better world for its global citizens."
"When thinking about the scale of this task, we are reminded of the words of our leadership that formed our union. Its spirit of collaboration was founded upon a desire to increase the ties that bind us and the belief that they were part of one family, and that they must gather under one leadership." Her Excellency added.
UAE AID is a physical embodiment of this sentiment. The UAE is comprised of more than 220 nationalities and when we think of its humanitarian output we are inevitably led back to the generosity of its people. Their acts of humanitarian kindness – no matter how big or small – help those in need. Their kindness and spirit is what drives the UAE.
H.E Reem Al Hashemy pointed out that the UAE AID will be the vehicle for the civic humanitarianism that is deeply imbedded into our culture and values. It will act as a constant reminder of the great strides our nation has made and the significant learnings we will gain from working together with our fellow nations. A tapestry born out of stability, innovation, collaboration and cooperation and these values are fundamental to humanity both in times of peace and in times of prosperity.
The launch of the UAE foreign aid brand aims at standardizing and regulating the use of the unified directory and applications by the UAE authorities and bodies.
