The Department of Travel Services and Treatment Affairs at the General Department of Administrative Affairs in the Dubai Police, in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MOFAIC, has organised an awareness lecture for members of the Dubai Police on Twajudi service.
The ministry provides the service to UAE citizens. It allows UAE missions to contact and help citizens to return back to the country safely in case of an emergency.
The lecture, held at the Dubai Police Headquarters, was delivered by Rashid Ali Al Dhaheri, Director of the National Affairs Department at the Ministry, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Hassan Al Janahi, Director of the Travel Service and Treatment Affairs Department at the General Directorate of the Administrative Affairs, Dubai Police, and others.
Al Dhaheri made a presentation about the service, noting that it is provided to UAE citizens abroad. It facilitates the process of communication between the UAE missions abroad and the citizens registered in the service as well as those present abroad in crisis and emergency situations with the aim of evacuating them and co-ordinating their return to the country.
Registration is also available via phone on toll-free number 80044444.
