His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid meets with Lithuania's President.

The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received today the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and President Grybauskaite discussed bilateral cooperation and consolidating ties for the benefit of the two countries' peoples across various sectors. H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, also attended the meeting.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid affirmed the importance of the Lithuanian President's visit, adding that it opens opportunities for mutual visits and rapprochement between the leaders of the two nations and their officials consolidating relations in innovation, communications, investment, trade and tourism.

President Grybauskaite praised the UAE's progress and development across a number of sectors, resulting in an integrated and cohesive cultural community.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Dalia Grybauskaite witnessed the signing of two bilateral agreements, one on Economic and Technical cooperation signed by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Linas Linkevicius, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a Memorandum of Energy signed by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and Zygimantas Vaiciunas, Minister of Energy of Lithuania.

H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai's Court, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department, also attended the meeting.
