H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed attends UAE Ambassadors Economic Forum in Malaysia.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has attended a UAE Ambassadors Economic Forum, which was hosted by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Kuala Lumpur today.
The Forum was attended by Mohammed Sharaf, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic Affairs, as well as the UAE’s ambassadors to East Asian countries and to India, Pakistan and Australia.
The Forum saw several workshops and presentations by the ambassadors, which highlighted the UAE's economic and commercial relations with East Asian countries, as well as with India, Pakistan and Australia.
Panel discussions were also held that tackled the issues of energy, alternative energy, environmental technology, telecommunications, electronics, space, artificial intelligence, transport and food security.
Sheikh Abdullah stated that the Forum succeeded in highlighting the importance of furthering the UAE's economic and investment ties with East Asian countries and with India, Pakistan and Australia.
The UAE, under the vision of its wise leadership, is keen to strengthen its co-operation with these countries, especially in the economic, investment and development areas, he added.
The meeting was attended by the following UAE ambassadors - Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, Ambassador to Australia; Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Ambassador to Malaysia; Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi, Ambassador to Pakistan; Saif Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, Ambassador to Thailand; Khalid Omran Al Ameri, Ambassador to Japan; Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, Ambassador to India; Khalid Ibrahim Abdul Aziz Shuhail, Ambassador to Vietnam; Mohammed Omer Abdullah Balfakih, Ambassador to Singapore; Hamad Saeed Al Zaabi, Ambassador to the Philippines; Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, Ambassador to South Korea; Ali Obaid Ali Al Dhaheri, Ambassador to China; Saleh Ahmed Salem Al Suwaidi, Ambassador to New Zealand; Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Tenaiji, Ambassador to Mongolia, and Mohammed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, Ambassador to Indonesia.
