Canadian Prime Minister receives HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting reviewed cooperation relations between the UAE and Canada and ways of boosting them as well as encouraging investments of interest to the two countries.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to the Prime Minister of Canada.

The Canadian Prime Minister reciprocated his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his best wishes for the UAE people for more progress and prosperity.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the importance of developing bilateral relations between the UAE and Canada in various fields.

Mr. Trudeau welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation, saying that Sheikh Abdullah's visit to Canada comes in the framework of strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries to serve the interests of both countries and peoples.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Saif Hilal Al Shehhi, UAE Ambassador to Canada.
