Emirati Honoured for Finding Lost Child in the Holland City of Maastricht

An Emirati has been awarded a memorial medal recognizing his brave and human act that helped finding the Emirati child, who was lost earlier this month while her family was spending their holiday in Maastricht, Netherlands.    

Mohammed Ali Al Manna'i was honoured by H.E. Mohammed Mir Abdullah Al Raisi, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the Ministry headquarters. 

The recognition ceremony was held in the presence of H.E Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), and H.E Rashid Ali Al Dhaheri, Director of National Affairs Department at (MoFAIC).   

H.E Al Raisi praised the bravery and humane behavior of Mr Al Manna'i in rescuing the child and helping her reunite with her family, He also expressed his thanks for the UAE embassy in Netherlands for responding swiftly to Al Mannai's calls and taking the necessary measures that helped recognize the child and reuniting her with her family.     

“This act of chivalry reflects the nobility of the UAE people and their dedication to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs it," he said, calling for the young people of the UAE to emulate this spirit".  

Al Mannai thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the recognition, "This decoration is a source of pride for me", he said, expressing his determination to continue in this path and extending help to whoever needs it.
