Cape Verde President receives credentials of UAE Non-Resident Ambassador

Jorge Carlos Fonseca, President of the Republic of Cape Verde, has received the credentials of H.E. Mohammed Salim Al Rashedi, Ambassador of the UAE to Senegal as Non-resident Ambassador to Cape Verde, at the Presidential Palace.

During the meeting, the UAE ambassador conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to President of Cape Verde.

The Cape Verdean President asked H.E. Ambassador  Al Rashedi to convey greetings to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, Mohamed bin Zayed and Mohammed bin Rashid, as well as his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.

President Fonseca hailed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, thanks to support of the leaders of both countries.

He wished for the success of the new UAE ambassador in his assignment to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

H.E. Ambassador  Al Rashedi stressed that he would work harder to enhance these relations.
