UAE Ambassador meets members of Emirati-Italian Friendship Association

Ambassador of the UAE to Italy, Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, has met with members of the Emirati-Italian Friendship Association after the forming of its advisory board which consists of influential Italian figures. 

The members of the association are politicians, existing members of the Italian government, officials of major Italian public and private corporations, MPs from the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, as well as Italian officials at the European Parliament. 

The UAE Embassy ensured that the selected members of the board represent all segments and professions in the Italian society and the private and public sectors. 

The chairman of the association is Francesco Rutelli, former Italian Minister of Culture and former Mayor of Rome, while the UAE ambassador to Italy and the Italian ambassador to the UAE serve as honorary chairmen who support the association and offer advise to bolster friendship ties between the two countries in various spheres and at all levels
