German President Joachim Gauck received the credentials of H.E. Ali Abdullah Al Ahmad, Ambassador of the UAE to Germany.
During the meeting, Al Ahmad conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the German president.
He also conveyed the leaders' best wishes for good health and well-being for President Gauck and for further progress for the people of Germany.
The ambassador stressed that he will do his best to bolster friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres.
President Gauck requested the Al Ahmad to convey greetings to Their Highnesses Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
He praised the good relations between the two countries and wished for success for Al Ahmad in his new assignment. He stressed that the ambassador will be receive the required support and facilities from the German authorities.
