The UAE strongly condemned the terrorist blast that targeted a security patrol on Friday in the Egyptian Governorate of Giza, killing six policemen and wounding three others.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, said, "As the UAE strongly decries these criminal acts and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism, it confirms an unwavering support to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in the face of these serious crimes."

"Such cowardly terrorist acts will not undermine the resolve of the people of Egypt and their determination to continue to tackle decisively the terrorism that has no country nor religion or morality," it added.

The statement underlined that this terrorist incident is completely against all human principles and religious values.

The Ministry concluded its statement by extending the condolences of the UAE to the families of the martyrs, the government and the people of Egypt, and wishing the injured speedy recovery.
