Crown Prince of Bahrain receives H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed on sidelines of Manama Dialogue.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, received here on Friday evening, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Singapore's Minister for Defence, Dr. Ng Eng Hen.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 12th IISS Manama Dialogue in Bahrain, they discussed bilateral relations among the three friendly countries and ways to strengthen them. They also tackled issues of mutual interest and topics in the agenda.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain expressed his satisfaction at taking part in this important international platform to discuss current regional and international political and security issues. He referred to the relations of the Kingdom of Bahrain with both the UAE and Singapore.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the bilateral relations between the UAE with both Bahrain and Singapore.
Among others present were Abdulridha Abdullah Mahmoud Al Khouri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, and Ahmed Abdul Rehman Al Jarman, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs.
Organised annually, the IISS Manama Dialogue provides a platform for participating states to exchange views on regional challenges. This year’s dialogue takes place amid a set of political, economic, social and security challenges in and around the Middle East and North Africa of a global importance and urgency not seen for decades. The IISS provides a vital forum for some of the most powerful policymakers from the region and beyond to agree on ways to address such pressing challenges collectively.
The 12th meeting will bring together governmental delegations from over 20 countries, comprising a blend of prime ministers, defence ministers, foreign ministers, national security advisers, and military and intelligence chiefs.
