Dr. Obaid Al Heri Salem Al Ketbi, UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to Solomon Islands, and Milner Tozaka, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Solomon Islands, have discussed means of boosting bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
During the meeting at the ministry's headquarters in Honiara, the two sides reviewed a partnership agreement and its role in the deepening of relations between the Pacific nation and the UAE, in addition to exchanging views on the development of cooperation in the commercial field and expanding the scope of work in the field of renewable energy.
Mr. Tozaka stressed that the UAE plays a significant role in the field of human rights, commending the UAE government's decision to appoint a non-resident ambassador to the Solomon Islands.
