UAE Ambassador meets President of South West Region of Somalia

H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Othman UAE Ambassador to Somalia has met with Hassan Sheikh President of South West Region of Somalia, at the Embassy.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Somalia. President of Somalia's South West Region extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its continued economic development efforts in Somalia.

Hassan Sheikh pointed out that the region is endowed with natural resources, especially the livestock, agricultural and fisheries and others. He invited Emirati companies to invest in the region.

On his part, the UAE Ambassador thanked President of Somalia's South West Region for his efforts to enhance relations between the two countries, and his dedication to ensuring the stability and security in Somalia.

The UAE Ambassador also hosted a luncheon in honour of the President of  South West Region of Somalia.
