HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid receives President of Guinea

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received at the Zabeel Palace, President Alpha Conde of Guinea, who is on a working visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed President Conde and his accompanying delegation.

The Guinean president said he was pleased to visit the UAE and to discuss with Sheikh Mohammed ways of strengthening ties and co-operation between the two friendly countries. He expressed the hope that true, strong and mutually beneficial partnerships are created between the private sectors in the two countries, particularly in the fields of minerals and agriculture.

He also said his country was looking forward to resuming Emirates Airlines' flights between Dubai and Conakry.

Present were Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Reem bin Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Ruler's Court, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director General of Protocol and Hospitality Department and Al Hassan Sawarri, Guinean Ambassador to the UAE.
